Last Thirsday and Friday, we made the first Swiftlight bungee launch trials in Aspres sur Buech.
This kind of take off is very easy: the pilot has just nothing to do.
In Aspres, we wish to use it for training: it would be possible to make many landings on a row in a short period of time at a very low cost. After that, the student pilot would be ready for a stress less first long solo flight.
And taking off from a mountain with the bungee is an alternative to foot launching which is always more challenging than with a hangglider or a paraglider.
Next trials at the end of October, but with student pilots… 🙂
