Despite adverse weather, Pascal could complete his Swiftlight training courses in 8 days:
Friday 15/4, first half day initial training by bungee;
Saturday morning, initial training completed (just before the South wind rose with strong gusts);
Sunday, rain;
Monday morning, first solo flight guided by radio from the ground (just before the North wind picked up and began gusting)
Tuesday at the end of the afternoon (after the North wind had decreased), first flight with his brand new Swiftlight: 2 hours thermal and soaring;
Wednesday morning (before the thermals) 4 short aerotows for approach management training, monitored by radio from the ground;
Wednesday afternoon, a 4 hours flight, following jac, in turbulent blue thermals: Ridge of Drac valley, Obiou, Ceuze, Aujour and back, the student pilot often over performing the leader, and out climbing all the gliders!
Thirsday, bad weather;
Next Friday in the morning, 4 short aerotows, approaches monitored by radio from the ground, of which 2 S approaches; then one flight, a little more than 1 hour, in thermals just before the sky became obscured by a thick cloud layer.
Pascal is the first pilot who has completed the full training course offered by ADPUL, congratulation 🙂
The Swift family is growing up 🙂
