5000m in the wave of “les Bans” in a laminar West-Northwest 45km/h wind blowing from Valgaudemar, great fun with the Swiftlight 🙂
Below, weak wind in the very cold convective air mass, very turbulent till 3200m (dry unstable air + big temperature contrast on the ground + strong sunshine); in the late afternoon 30km/h North wind in the West.
Jac just after landing, happy, but somewhat cold, not from climbing till 5000m in the wave where the air mass was not so cold, but the next 3 hours spent in the freezing convective airmass, flying a “little” 235km FAI triangle: Les Bans – Thorame-Basse – and back to Aspres.
