With the arrival of summer, the nice weather came back. So far, we haven’t got perfect flying conditions to turn big XC triangle from Aspres: The Queyraz and Ubaye area didn’t look nice to cross so the East route to fly big triangle was not so practicable (except 9/7 when we were flying demos aerotowing and bungee launches for the « Fête de l’Air » airshow).
But we were often able to fly to the 4000m+ Ecrins in the Oisan mountain range, sometimes with weak and unconsistent thermals making it very difficult for the certified gliders. So was it July the 7th:
